I collaborated with design leadership, who were overseas working directly with manufacturers, to translate early sketches and concepts into production-ready details for the Broadway Tote. I contributed to research and CAD refinement while owning technical sketching, spec development, Tech Pack creation, and sample review. My work ensured material quality, proportion, and construction aligned with brand standards, craftsmanship, and everyday functionality.

The Broadway Tote is part of Coach’s New York family, a line of bags designed to complement silhouettes like the Empire Tote and Brooklyn Shoulder Bag while carrying forward the brand’s codes of modern leathercraft. Positioned as a versatile essential, it embodies accessible luxury through its balance of scale, functionality, and refined material selection.

Crafted in natural-grain, unlined leather, the tote highlights the quality of each hide, allowing unique marks and textures to remain visible. This material choice celebrates the authenticity of leathercraft while creating a drape that is soft enough to fold and store, yet structured enough to retain its shape. Vegetable-tanned calf leather trims provide durability and contrast, framing the body with a subtle nod to traditional saddlery.

Designed for daily use, the Broadway Tote accommodates a 16-inch laptop and includes a detachable interior pouch for essentials. Foil-embossed branding adds discreet distinction, underscoring Coach’s commitment to timeless craftsmanship.
