I explored the idea of designing a concept racing glove that merged sport utility with casual wear appeal. The study focused on CMF exploration, ergonomic fit, and visual detailing, blending athletic functionality with refined craftsmanship. Story:
Drifting Course 3 was conceived to merge the worlds of sports and luxury, reinterpreting the racing glove as both a performance tool and a design statement. Built on an ergonomic cut-and-sew pattern, it offers enhanced mobility and comfort while showcasing a tactile mix of premium lamb and sheepskin leathers in honey, chocolate, and golden brown tones.
Functionality was central to the design. Ribbed TPU grips with velcro closure provided secure control, while strategically placed perforations ensured breathability during extended wear. Touchscreen-reactive fingertips allowed seamless connectivity without removing the gloves, reinforcing their versatility across modern athletic lifestyles.
Elevated details set the glove apart as a luxury accessory. Classic binding and contrast stitching refined the silhouette, while the brass branding underscored its exclusivity. By blending technical performance with refined craftsmanship, Drifting Course 3 embodied a new standard where elegance and sport coexist in a single, collectible piece.
