I was tasked with creating a cohesive, playful Rogue collection featuring embroidered and chenille creature patches. Story:
The Creatures Rogue collection reimagined Coach’s iconic silhouette through a playful lens, introducing whimsical patches that transformed the Rogue 25 and Rogue 39 into collectible statement pieces. Crafted in light tan pebble leather with mocha glove-tanned accents, the bags balanced luxury materials with tactile embellishment, bringing fresh energy to the Rogue family.
Each patch combined embroidery and chenille textures to create depth and a hand-finished quality. Owls, cats, snails, and other imaginative creatures appeared in rich colors and varied scales, adding personality while celebrating craftsmanship. The layered execution emphasized texture against supple leather, making the bags visually engaging and distinctly touchable.
Designed as both functional and expressive, the Rogue 25 offered compact versatility while the 39 provided ample space, including laptop capacity. Together, the duo demonstrated how playful CMF design could expand an established silhouette, reaffirming Coach’s reputation for merging expert craft with creativity.
