ELIAS BELT BAG

I was tasked with overseeing the end-to-end development of a new ergonomic belt bag silhouette aimed at Gen Z consumers. My role spanned sketching, CADs, CMF exploration, and tech pack creation, while collaborating with manufacturing on production execution. Grounded in research on body-conforming fits and generational trends, the design introduced a removable AirPods pouch for added utility and playful expression.

Story:

The Elias Belt Bag introduced a modern interpretation of Coach’s lifestyle accessories, designed to expand the brand’s offering while resonating with Gen Z consumers. Defined by angular gussets and wings, the silhouette delivered a body-conforming fit that could be worn crossbody or at the waist. The streamlined form balanced versatility, comfort, and contemporary style.

Minimalist detailing reinforced its sleek aesthetic. A front-facing zipper window and nickel-plated brass hardware elevated the construction, while Coach’s signature lockup on the front added a subtle brand touch. A non-detachable webbing strap provided adjustability, enhanced with a detachable AirPods pouch that introduced a playful yet practical storage element.

Crafted in pebble leather with a nylon lining, the Elias Belt Bag blended practicality with refinement. Designed to carry essentials such as phones, wallets, and keys, it was envisioned as a functional accessory that merged Coach craftsmanship with modern utility.
